IIOJK: Full Closure Implemented in Protest Against Modi’s Visit

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed on Friday in protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the territory.

The shutdown was a demonstration by the Kashmiris to express their rejection of Modi’s visit and his iron-fist policies in held territory.

Earlier, Indian government have heavily militarized Srinagar with thousands of troops deployed and surveillance measures utilized to monitor the movement of people and thwart anti-India protests.

Notably, Modi arrived in Srinagar yesterday evening and participated in a yoga event at the Kashmir International Convention Centre on the banks of Dal Lake today.

In a statement in Srinagar, APHC spokesman strongly condemning Modi's visit, called it a cheap gimmick aimed at deceiving international community about the dire situation in IIOJK.

Meanwhile, Indian forces arrested nearly three hundred youth last week in various violent crackdown operations conducted in various areas of the territory.
