NDMA Releases Weather Advisory for Eid-ul-Azha


The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a public advisory concerning the weather conditions expected during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha celebrations.

According to the NDMA, there is a likelihood of rain, wind, dust storms, and thunderstorms affecting various regions of the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, South Punjab, and parts of Sindh during the Eid holidays.

The NDMA has urged the public to prepare for potential floods and landslides, particularly in Upper KP, Murree, Galliyat, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

In addition, the NDMA has launched the “PAK-NDMA Disaster Alert” app, designed to provide the general public with timely alerts, advisories, hazard-specific guidelines, and public service messages.
